Creating Space for Sacred Care

Where Steady Presence meets Gentle Support

Across cultures and throughout history, illness and dying have been regarded as sacred transitions—thresholds that open the way to mystery and invite us to reflect on life’s deeper currents. While medical care often takes priority, living with illness or facing our mortality also offers an opportunity to nurture meaning, beauty, and connection in ways that might otherwise be overlooked.

Whether you’re navigating a diagnosis, living with ongoing treatment, or caring for someone you love, this is a tender and often overwhelming time. I offer grounded support to meet the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of your experience. Together, we create a steady, gentle rhythm that brings comfort, eases burdens, and honours what feels most important to you.

Creating Sacred Space Together

Gentle Presence & Practical Support

Supporting you and your loved ones with steady, grounded presence. Together we create spaces that honour both everyday needs and deeper moments - whether creating restful environments, finding ways to maintain daily rhythms, or simply being there to listen. I offer practical support that flows naturally alongside the emotional and spiritual aspects of your journey.

Contemplative Care & Ritual

Offering gentle practices that can bring moments of peace to daily life. This might include creating meaningful rituals, sharing contemplative readings, or finding ways to mark important moments. Together, we discover what brings comfort and connection, always moving at a pace that feels right.

Supporting Loved Ones & Carers

Walking alongside those supporting someone through illness, offering both practical assistance and steadying presence. I help create spaces where carers can tend to their own needs while supporting their loved one, finding ways to weave moments of rest and renewal into demanding days. An extra layer of support can help maintain balance during challenging times.

Creative Expression & Connection

Supporting you in finding meaningful creative outlets during this time. Creative activities - whether painting, writing, storytelling, music or other forms of expression - can offer gentle ways to connect with yourself and others, and find moments of joy and personal agency. These practices create space for reflection and fresh perspectives.

”Heidi and I got to know each other through our training as Soul Midwife end of life companions. For the last year we have met regularly as I make my journey with stage 4 prostate cancer. She has a marvellous empathetic warmth, but has not shied away from sometimes challenging my thinking or my reporting of how I am feeling - and on these occasions she has been absolutely right and has helped me to find a different way. Heidi is extremely knowledgeable about end of life matters and how to best live if time is limited - and I know this comes from extensive reading and training, but just as importantly from her own lived experience. I am very glad that I met Heidi and that she is with me on my journey”
